It is reported that music composer Anirudh Ravichander has stepped down from Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film King due to busy schedule. Music composers Sachin-Jigar have been roped in for the film.
It has been reported that after some talks, Anirudh and the makers of the film have decided to go their separate ways as he isn't getting much time for the ambitious Bollywood film due to his busy schedule in south film industry.
Anirudh has composed the theme track for the film. However, Sachin-Jigar will now work on the theme and integrate it into the background score.
King, directed by Siddharth Anand, is one of the most awaited films of Shah Rukh Khan and the makers want to avoid delays in the film. They reportedly want to kick off the promotional activities around Shah Rukh Khan's birthday.
While the news of Anirudh stepping down may disappoint fans, the expectation levels will be high from Sachin-Jigar. The film, which is set to release at Christmas, will be an action entertainer starring Shah Rukh Khan.
