S Krishna, who has earned recognition through his
association with blockbuster filmmaker Anil Ravipudi and his work as a
co-writer on several successful films, is now stepping into the director’s
chair with HIGH. Marking his directorial debut, the film also showcases his
talents as a writer and actor, with him playing a pivotal role in the project.
He is additionally co-producing the film along with Harish Peddi and Sekhar
Divvela. Produced under the banners of Imagespark Entertainment and Myra
Creations, HIGH promises a captivating cinematic experience packed with
emotions, gripping drama, and energetic moments. The film boasts an ensemble
cast featuring Ananya Sharma, S Krishna, Pallavi Dora, Krishna Kamal, Sai
Krishna, and Revanth (Bulliraju) in significant roles.
The film’s promotional song Dammulunte has been dropped just a while ago.
Instead of relying on conventional promotional imagery, the makers have opted
for a fun and vibrant approach, bringing the film's lead cast together in a
cricket-themed video filled with enthusiasm and youthful celebrations. The
result is a lively visual treat that reflects the mood of the song.
Roll Rida's energetic rap delivery is one of the major highlights, while Vikas
Badisa gives the number its musical punch with an upbeat composition and
thumping rhythms. The lyrics add to its appeal, making Dammulunte an
entertaining package for music lovers.
The song is designed to capture the excitement of youth, where friendship, fun,
and spontaneous moments take centre stage. Its colourful presentation and
lively choreography further enhance the overall experience.
HIGH is a story about the different ways people chase happiness, pleasure, and
excitement. Each character is driven by a unique desire. Bringing their
parallel journeys together, the film explores the emotional, psychological, and
moral dimensions of human choices.
The film’s cinematography is handled by Mallu Nayak and Suneel Reddy, while
Vikasa Badisa provides the music. GRK Saran Ravula is the editor, and V Venkat
choreographs the action sequences.
